Hugh. Andrew handles stump grinding, while Lucy manages the

Our Story
In 2024, we, the Hobbs family, launched Busy Beaver Stump Grinding in Broken Arrow, OK, to escape our day jobs and embrace the freedom of running our own business, allowing Lucy to leave her workplace and Andrew to dive into a new venture. Despite challenges like finding customers, setting up advertising, and weathering a slow first winter, our passion for family time—fueled by our son Hugh cheerfully picking up sticks on jobs—kept us going. We take pride in offering same-day stump grinding and tree removal with a personal touch, ensuring every customer feels they’ve supported a local family business that truly cares.
